Our early verdict
Stake publishes a stronger legal and payment-documentation trail than many crypto casinos. The current terms name the operator, licence number, payment agents, KYC powers, deposit and withdrawal conditions, restricted regions and complaint email. Its help centre separately documents crypto networks, withdrawal limits and the wagering tracker.
That transparency does not replace testing. A broad catalogue, high public visibility and polished wallet experience cannot establish withdrawal reliability for a particular user. The 100% deposit-turnover rule, extensive KYC discretion and long prohibited-jurisdiction list are material conditions that should remain close to any future affiliate button.
Operator and licence
The terms checked on 1 August 2026 state that Stake is owned and operated by Medium Rare N.V., with a Curaçao address, and licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under number OGL/2024/1451/0918. They also name Medium Rare Limited and MRS Tech Ltd as possible payment-processing companies.
OptiHax still needs to verify the licence directly against the regulator’s current register and record which legal disclosure appears to an eligible user during registration.
Casino, Originals, sports and esports
Stake’s public navigation and policies cover third-party casino games, live casino, Originals, sportsbook, esports, racing and poker products. The breadth is useful for players who want one account, but each category needs separate evidence:
- Slots and live games: providers, game count, RTP variants and regional availability.
- Stake Originals: rules, house edge and result-verification process.
- Sports and esports: market depth, odds margin, settlement, cash-out and void rules.
- Poker and racing: eligibility, fees and product-specific dispute procedures.
Crypto deposits and withdrawals
The help centre provides separate instructions for crypto deposits, networks, limits and withdrawals. The terms say the wallet displays currently available payment methods, limits and fees, which can vary by country and method.
A particularly important rule appears in both the terms and help centre: 100% of a crypto deposit must be wagered before a crypto withdrawal. A $100 deposit therefore requires $100 in settled eligible wagering before withdrawal. Sports bets count after settlement rather than when placed.
Stake can perform enhanced due diligence, impose minimums and fees, and request that multiple pending withdrawals be consolidated. OptiHax has not yet measured blockchain fee, approval time or wallet receipt.
KYC and account security
The terms require personal registration information and allow Stake to request whatever KYC documentation it considers necessary to establish identity and location. Service, payments or withdrawals may be restricted until verification is sufficient. Stake should not be described as guaranteed “no KYC.”
The terms recommend two-factor authentication. Players should enable it, use a unique password, verify the domain before signing in and never share a wallet seed phrase or private key with support.
Country restrictions
The prohibited-jurisdiction list reviewed by OptiHax includes numerous countries and regions, among them Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. It also prohibits attempts to bypass geoblocking with a VPN, proxy or misleading location information.
The list is lengthy and can change. Visitors must check the current terms directly rather than relying on an old country summary.
Responsible gambling and complaints
Stake publishes a self-exclusion policy and says it may suspend an account when it has concerns about compulsive gambling. The practical review still needs to check deposit, loss and session limits; time-outs; marketing suppression; and how quickly self-exclusion takes effect across products.
